Stompede Line Dancing Festival

Saturday 28 November 2026
1pm–late
Welcome to Brunswick

Dust off your boots, find your fringe and start practising your best yeehaw. Stompede Line Dancing Festival is riding into Welcome to Brunswick on Saturday 28 November hosted by Kitty & Lu from Disco Rodeo.

They’re bringing a full day of line dancing, live music, DJs, makers, pop-up tattoos and gloriously good times to Brunswick.

We're talking dancing all day, excellent tunes, cold beers and plenty to discover along the way. No cowboy credentials required.

THE MUSIC & LINEUP

Boots on. Volume up.

A proper festival needs a proper soundtrack, and Stompede is delivering the goods.

Expect live music, DJs and line dancing throughout the day, with a lineup bringing together country-inspired sounds, good-time energy and plenty of reasons to stick around for another song.

Set times announced soon.

DISCO RODEO BOOT-SCOOTING

WITH KITTY & LU

Two left feet? No worries. Three left feet? We'll work with that, too.

Disco Rodeo and Kitty & Lu are bringing the boot-scooting to Stompede, with line dancing lessons and sessions happening throughout the day (including for kids!)

Come ready to learn, have a laugh and give it a crack.

Never line danced before? You're in the right place.

Lesson times will be announced soon.

What else is On

AMERICANA MAKERS MARKET

Take a break from the dance floor and explore the Americana Makers Market - we’re talking leather goods, tasty treats and plenty more.

POP-UP TATTOOS

Fancy a little souvenir that lasts longer than your average Saturday night?

Pop-up tattoos from Catching Hands Ink are available on the day, giving you another way to commemorate the occasion.

Consider it a permanent reminder of the day you finally learned that line dance. Or the day you tried.

The Leatherettes Girl Moto Gang

This Melbourne-based all-female motorcycle club brings a serious dose of moto culture, vintage Americana and unapologetic cool to the day.

Expect bikes, leather, vintage-inspired style and plenty of personality when they roll into Welcome to Brunswick.

AND THEN COMES THE HOEDOWN

Once the families have headed home, the line dancing has had a proper workout and the daylight starts to disappear, the Hoedown kicks into gear.

The music gets louder. The drinks keep coming. The dancing gets a little looser.

If the afternoon is for learning the steps, the evening is for forgetting them.

FOOD AT STOMPEDE

All that boot-scooting works up an appetite. Fortunately, we've got that covered.

Dr Brisket

When the craving for something hearty hits, Dr Brisket is here to help. Get your brisket fix and refuel before heading back into the festival action.

Mr Burger

A festival favourite for a reason. Mr Burger will be serving up the burger goodness, perfect for grabbing a bite between bands, dances and a wander around the market.
